About Nia and Taz
Nia and Taz are very typical of their breed, and therefore potential adopters must have some experience of the breed to help bring out the best in them. High exercise levels, demand for mental stimulation and fur control are the three main factors potential adopters will need to consider.
They could potentially make great running partners; or train up to take part in dog and owner sports like Canicross and Bikejoring.
This pair are very sociable with people; once they know you, you’ve got a friend for life. Nia can be a little aloof initially with strangers but is easily won over with a tasty treat or two. Taz is a comedy genius without knowing it and keeps his kennel carers entertained each day.
They have both proved to have excellent dog interaction and are regulars on group walks with staff.
What Nia and Taz Need from their Forever Home
Experience of the breed will be beneficial, as Husky’s are not a breed to be taken on lightly. The pair will have no problems socialising with other dogs outside of the home, but would be best suited as the only pets in the home due to their size and attention they require. They both have lovely temperaments so can live with children aged 12+. Please note Nia and Taz must be rehomed together.
